The woodland is made up of 130 picturesque acres.

Strathellan Wood is located south of Plockton village in the Scottish Highlands.

The Argyll and Bute Local Development Plan 2 (2024) states that established woodland area are the preferred locations for huts, as reported by Luxury Property News.

The land is filled with semi-ancient Atlantic oaks, silver birch, sycamore, rowan and hazel trees.
