G-SHOCK Made a Streetwear-Friendly Beige Version of Its 5600 Recycled Resin Watch

These days, most brands are putting their best foot forward to be eco-conscious. However, these efforts often come at the sacrifice of overall aesthetic. On the other hand, you have G-SHOCK, who continues to craft drool-worthy timepieces that can integrate their good intentions much smoother.

Following last year’s G5600BG-1 Recycled Resin in bespeckled black, the Casio sub-brand has dropped a sequel in beige while continuing the method of using old, discarded watches to help make its case and band. While some purists in the community lament the absence of Multi-Band 6 atomic timekeeping, the solar functionality remains a significant selling point for many, especially those who appreciate the combination of special colorways with practical technology, as this pairing isn’t always guaranteed in limited edition G-SHOCKs.
