PERFECT HARMONY
Excellence flaunts a new face this year through this exceptional timepiece, a powerhouse of stylistic emotions and mechanical virtuosity.
In 2013, Chopard unveiled its first perpetual calendar tourbillon. Six years later, thanks its expertise, the manufacture showcased its first flying tourbillon driven by an automatic winding system equipped with the T Twin technology based on the presence of two stacked barrels. This time round, forever true to this desire to merge technical know-how with elegant design, the L.U.C Flying T Twin Perpetual ushers in a new chapter.

Inside the 40.5 mm-diameter, 11.3 mm-high ethical yellow gold case, the forest green dial decorated with a hand guilloché-engraved sunburst finish, harmoniously hosts perpetual calendar data. At 3 o’clock, the month and leap year are symmetrically set against the weekday display and 24-hour indicator, both nestling at 9 o’clock. At 6 o’clock, the small seconds ticks over on the flying tourbillon carriage, while an instantaneous large date can be read off in a double aperture at 12 o’clock.
All this data is brought to life by the L.U.C Caliber 96.36-L, assembled using some 319 components. This selfwinding movement, featuring two stacked barrels and a micro-rotor, delivers a power reserve of 65 hours. This fine watchmaking piece also stands out with its timekeeping accuracy, certified by the COSC. The quality of its workmanship has been commended as it’s stamped with the Geneva Seal. This watch can be worn on an interchangeable green alligator strap or an optional beige calfskin one. When exquisiteness rhymes with sheer delight.
