A huge forest is up for sale with a whopping £325,000 price tag.
The woodland is made up of 130 picturesque acres.
That is the equivalent to just over 81 football pitches.
Strathellan Wood is located south of Plockton village in the Scottish Highlands.
The sale is a rare opportunity for one successful buyer to own their own forest.
Rich in wildlife and biodiversity the plot of land offers breath-taking views of the sea and the nearby Torridon Hills.

Buyers could even have the opportunity to construct their own cabin (subject to planning permission) for their personal isolated getaway.
The Argyll and Bute Local Development Plan 2 (2024) states that established woodland area are the preferred locations for huts, as reported by Luxury Property News.
The land is filled with semi-ancient Atlantic oaks, silver birch, sycamore, rowan and hazel trees.

Sitka spruce, lodgepole pine and Scots pine can also be found in the wood, with the trees holding timber value.
A historic arboretum is located within the wood, displaying some magnificent specimen trees.
The land has been left unmanaged to develop naturally creating a unique and tranquil space.

Jock Galbraith, partner at Goldcrest Land & Forestry, selling the land said: “Strathellen Wood is in a fabulous location.
“Overlooking the whitewashed cottages of Plockton or ‘The Jewel of the Highlands’ as it is known.

“The considerable amenity element to this woodland offers owners the chance to sink deep into nature and enjoy the surroundings from the rich biodiversity to the stunning views.

“A cabin, should consent be given, would also offer a wonderful escapist bolthole from which to enjoy this very attractive wood as well as a base from which to explore the west coast and Inner Hebrides.
“The area offers a wealth of outdoor activities, from scenic cycling to sea swimming and sailing.

“Meanwhile, the commercial element also offers harvestable tax-free income.
“Such special and desirable woodlands rarely come to the market.

“Strathellen offers a fabulous opportunity.”
